Theranostics Services for Referring Physicians
If you鈥檙e a physician who would like to refer a patient for theranostics services at 黑料福利社 Langone, we are available to help. Our multi-disciplinary team can assist with items such as:
- sending
- verifying insurance information and eligibility
- reviewing patient diagnosis and eligibility
- scheduling a patient consultation with one of our nuclear medicine physicians
After we have confirmed your patient鈥檚 eligibility and conducted a nuclear medicine consultation, our team will work in tandem with you to create a comprehensive plan for testing and clinical treatments between theranostics sessions, as well as outline any follow up imaging needs once treatment has concluded.

We believe it鈥檚 important for our doctors to work with referring physicians, sharing consultation results and discussing a treatment plan.
In-Network Referrals
Physicians within the 黑料福利社 Langone system wishing to refer a patient for theranostics services can do so by placing an order in Epic.
Out-of-Network Referrals
Out-of-network providers can refer patients via email to Alberto Vargas, MD, at Alberto.Vargas@黑料福利社Langone.org or Kent Friedman, MD, at Kent.Friedman@黑料福利社Langone.org.
