As a clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at ���ϸ����� Langone, I am dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and co-occurring challenges such as anxiety, depression, and social difficulties. In my roles as clinical associate professor of child and adolescent psychiatry and clinical director of the Autism Research and Clinical Program at ���ϸ����� Grossman School of Medicine, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and effective care to my patients.

I specialize in a neuroaffirming approach to therapy, partnering with patients and their families to define and reach their goals. My practice spans a wide age range, from toddlers to adults, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and developmentally appropriate care. I provide comprehensive evaluations and a variety of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, family therapy, parent support, and group therapy. My therapeutic techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and parent training, all tailored to support autistic learning styles and developmental perspectives. With years of experience, my credentials and extensive training underscore my expertise in this field.

Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, working closely with other healthcare providers to enhance their ability to support clients with autism, particularly those with behavioral health needs. My work includes quality improvement research and specialized training programs, which aim to improve the overall care and support available to autistic youth and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.

My journey into the field of psychology was inspired by my early interests in child development, particularly after observing the growth and challenges faced by a family friend with developmental delays. Witnessing his progress and the resilience of his family fueled my passion for understanding how children thrive and how families cope with developmental challenges. This personal connection continues to drive my commitment to helping my patients achieve their fullest potential.

I received my doctorate in school psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.  I completed my clinical internship at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine TEACCH Autism Program and a postdoctoral fellowship in autism and neurodevelopmental disorders at the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
