As an endocrinologist and obesity medicine specialist at ���ϸ����� Langone Medical Associates—Penn District, I am dedicated to providing care that emphasizes trust, connection, and advocacy. My approach is rooted in the belief that medicine is not just a profession but a way to support individuals navigating complex health challenges. This sense of purpose guides my interactions with patients, ensuring they feel heard and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

I specialize in managing patients with a wide range of metabolic conditions, including type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, overweight/obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and thyroid disease. My clinical focus lies at the intersection of endocrinology and obesity medicine, where I use education as a powerful tool to help patients understand and manage their health. By fostering a supportive environment, I aim to guide patients to take proactive steps towards improving their wellbeing.

With years of experience in the field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. My medical training and internal medicine residency were completed at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where I was honored with a distinction in community service and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. I further honed my skills during my endocrinology fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a clinical assistant professor at ���ϸ����� Grossman School of Medicine, where I mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As the first doctor in my family, medicine has always been deeply personal to me. It’s more than a profession—it’s a way to build trust, foster connection, and advocate for those navigating complex health challenges. That sense of purpose has guided me every step of the way. Outside the clinic, I’m deeply involved in shaping broader conversations around metabolic health. I frequently share insights through national and international media platforms, including ABC News, NBC News, Today Show, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Times of India, and Medscape. I also contribute to academic scholarship, including published book chapters, and stay active in professional organizations such as the Obesity Action Coalition and the Tristate Obesity Society.

Whether I’m working with a patient one-on-one, mentoring students and residents, or engaging with the public through media, my mission remains the same: to center compassion in care, break down medical complexity, and meet people where they are—with honesty and empathy.
