Foot and ankle issues have a profound impact on both the physical and emotional well-being of individuals. I want my patients to know that their journey towards recovery is uniquely personal and requires a tailored approach. By focusing on shared decision-making and exploring both surgical and nonsurgical options, I aim to achieve long-term outcomes that prioritize comfort and confidence, ultimately restoring independence, mobility, and joy in movement.

My passion for orthopaedic surgery was ignited by a personal experience of sustaining a tibial fracture, which showed me how restoring function can transform a patient’s life. This led to a deep curiosity about the relationship between structure and movement, further explored through my background in anthropology, where I studied skeletal anatomy and human biomechanics. My residency experience, enriched by exposure to reconstructive and sports-related foot and ankle surgery, along with mentorship from inspiring surgeons, solidified my commitment to this subspecialty.

In my practice, I manage a comprehensive range of foot and ankle conditions, including Achilles tendon injuries, trauma, flatfoot deformity, total ankle replacement, and various sports-related injuries. My approach combines both operative and non-operative strategies, tailored to each patient’s goals and functional needs. Our team stands out for its multidisciplinary, evidence-based care, informed by the latest advancements in imaging, biomechanics, and rehabilitation science. We are dedicated to combining technical expertise with individualized treatment plans to optimize recovery and long-term function.
