Born and raised in Queens, New York, I am proud to be a first-generation Punjabi American, deeply influenced by the resilience and determination of my immigrant parents. My multicultural background and fluency in Punjabi enable me to connect profoundly with the diverse communities of New York City. I am dedicated to delivering healthcare that is both culturally sensitive and highly personalized.

As a dedicated family medicine physician at ���ϸ����� Langone Medical Associates—Howard Beach, I focus on building long-term relationships by considering the entirety of my patients’ lives, including their medical conditions, lifestyle choices, and the social and cultural factors impacting their wellbeing. My approach goes beyond mere medical treatment. I am committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment in which patients feel heard, understood, and supported in their journey towards optimal health.

I embarked on my educational journey with a bachelor of science degree in integrative neuroscience from Fordham University, followed by obtaining my medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. I completed my family medicine residency at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, New York, where I honed my skills in comprehensive primary care, with a focus on managing patients with chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and elevated cholesterol.

Preventive medicine is at the heart of my practice; I collaborate closely with my patients to ensure they remain up to date with recommended screenings, immunizations, and health maintenance strategies. My aim is to empower individuals to take charge of their health, preventing future complications whenever possible.

Inspired by a passion for immigrant health and community advocacy, I founded The Healthy Cab during my medical school years—a pioneering initiative to enhance the wellness of New York City’s Yellow Cab drivers, many of whom are immigrants. Through research into mental health challenges and barriers to resources like public restrooms, I developed a mobile app to help drivers locate nearby taxi stands, supporting their health needs while on the road.
