I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), psychodynamic theory, and motivational interviewing. These techniques have proven effective in addressing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma exposure, and interpersonal conflicts. Additionally, I have significant experience working with LGBTQ individuals, providing tailored support that acknowledges and respects their experiences.

Throughout my career, I have developed a person-in-environment centered approach, which considers both micro and macro societal factors impacting my patients. This perspective has been honed through my diverse work experience in non-profit and start-up environments, allowing me to offer comprehensive, individualized care. My commitment to patient engagement and responsiveness ensures that each individual receives the support they need to navigate their healing journey.

My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in women and gender studies from CUNY Hunter College, followed by a master's degree in social work with a focus on clinical practice from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. My initial inspiration to pursue social work stemmed from a desire to help others find the power within themselves to become the person they aspire to be.
