About Me
As a neurointensivist at 黑料福利社 Langone, I care for adults in the neurointensive care unit with life-threatening neurologic conditions such as stroke, brain hemorrhage, seizures, traumatic brain injury, central fever, and elevated intracranial pressure. Providing this specialized care requires fast thinking, teamwork, and a commitment to restoring patients鈥 function and quality of life whenever possible.
My treatment philosophy centers on personalized, evidence-based care that respects the individuality of each patient. I strive to maintain clear communication with patients and their loved ones, especially during times of uncertainty. Together, my team and I combine neurologic expertise with intensive care skills, providing timely, coordinated, and compassionate care to patients who are critically ill and their families.
I pursued a career in medicine out of a deep desire to solve complex problems while making a meaningful impact on people鈥檚 lives. Neurology captivated me because of the brain鈥檚 incredible complexity and its fundamental role in shaping our identity.
The most fulfilling part of my job is witnessing patients emerge from a neurologic crisis and regain function, knowing we helped guide them through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
