As a child and adolescent psychiatrist with ���ϸ����� Langone’s Child Study Center, I work with children, adolescents, and adults who have all types of mental health disorders. My treatment strategy is based on the Positive Approach to the psychiatric interview, which also happens to be my area of research. Uncovering and elevating a patient’s strengths is not only essential for their improvement, it is also the more effective way to create a strong alliance.

My interest in well-being has been developed over years of teaching undergraduates “The Science of Happiness,” the most popular elective class at ���ϸ�����. The class covers the science of well-being and how to implement change in one’s life.

I am the recipient of several teaching awards and have been named to New York Super Doctors seven times and was named to its “Rising Stars” list for New York three times.
