As a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, I specialize in sports medicine and shoulder surgery with a dedicated focus on empowering patients to regain their active lifestyles. My journey began at Connecticut College, where I pursued my undergraduate studies while playing as a varsity lacrosse athlete for four consecutive years. I then advanced my medical career by obtaining my degree from SUNY Downstate, where I was honored with induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and distinguished by the Christopher Pavlides, MD Memorial Award for Excellence in Orthopaedics. My orthopedic surgery residency was completed at the University of Connecticut, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at ���ϸ����� Langone in New York City. Here, I continue to collaborate with leading experts, ensuring I remain at the cutting edge of orthopedic innovation.

With a specialization in treating complex injuries of the shoulder, hip, knee, elbow, foot, and ankle, I employ an array of techniques from minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures to advanced open reconstructions. While surgery can be essential, many conditions benefit from non-operative strategies. I endeavor to understand each patient’s individual goals, enabling me to deliver a tailored and holistic treatment plan—be it through physical therapy, injections, biologic treatments, or surgical solutions when necessary.

My clinical expertise encompasses serving as assistant team physician to top-tier athletic programs, including the New Jersey Devils, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Long Island University (LIU), enriching my ability to manage diverse sports-related injuries and high-performance requirements. Collaborative care is a cornerstone of my practice, and I work closely with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other specialists to provide integrated and comprehensive treatment.

Beyond patient care, my commitment extends to research and education. My contributions to peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and podium presentations underscore my dedication, and I have received accolades such as the Neviaser Basic Science Award in 2023. These academic endeavors allow me to refine my clinical approach continually and assure my patients benefit from the most current evidence-based treatments.
