As a gastroenterologist at ���ϸ����� Langone Medical Associates—West Palm Beach, 1515 North Flagler Drive, I am dedicated to delivering outstanding, patient-focused care. My approach is guided by experience, informed by evidence, and grounded in the human connection at the heart of medicine. I believe excellence in medicine begins with listening, and I take the time to truly understand my patients’ stories to build thoughtful, individualized diagnostic and treatment plans.

I specialize in managing patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, with a particular focus on colorectal cancer. My expertise extends to the molecular pathogenesis of this disease, which I studied extensively during my clinical and research fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. This deep understanding of the underlying mechanisms of colorectal cancer allows me to provide comprehensive and cutting-edge care to my patients.

With more than two decades of experience, I have balanced private practice with academic medicine. I have served as a professor of medicine at the Medical College of Georgia and New York Medical College, and I am currently a clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine at ���ϸ����� Grossman School of Medicine. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of training more than 60 gastroenterology fellows, many of whom I continue to mentor. My clinical philosophy emphasizes collaboration, regularly consulting with colleagues to refine care plans to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.

My educational journey began with a bachelor’s degree with honors from Johns Hopkins University, followed by my medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where I was among the inaugural class to complete the groundbreaking “New Pathway” curriculum. This program emphasized case-based, problem-solving education in a collaborative, interactive setting, and instilled a patient-centered, team-based approach to care. My foundation in comprehensive, collaborative medicine continued through my internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard teaching hospital in Boston. These experiences have deeply shaped my approach to patient care, cultivating a meticulous, detail-oriented mindset grounded in both science and compassion.

Whether it’s through early detection of colorectal cancer or managing patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions, I am committed to improving my patients' wellbeing and quality of life. My goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and support they need to take charge of their health and foster a partnership that promotes long-term wellness.
