As a former competitive athlete, I understand what it means to be sidelined by an injury and the frustration and determination that come with recovery. For 14 years, I served as head team physician and surgeon for the New York Rangers Hockey Club, an experience that continues to shape how I approach patient care.

I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and clinical associate professor at ���ϸ����� Langone Orthopedic Hospital, specializing in minimally invasive treatments, joint preservation and reconstructive procedures of the knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle. I take a conservative patient-centered approach, prioritizing nonsurgical treatment whenever possible and using minimally invasive procedures when needed. I also incorporate biologic therapies, including PRP and stem cell treatments, alongside advanced rehabilitation protocols to help optimize recovery and restore function.

Over the course of my career, I have treated athletes from the NBA, NFL, MLB, and various European leagues, experiences that have reinforced my commitment to individualized patient care and helping patients safely return to their highest level of activity.

As one of the primary instructors for the sports medicine fellowship at ���ϸ����� Langone Orthopedic Hospital, I maintain a strong focus on both clinical care and research. I have lectured and taught labs at local and national conferences, chaired educational events on athletic injury treatment, published in peer-reviewed journals, and authored The Jock Doc’s Body Repair Kit, published by St. Martin’s Press.

I have shared orthopedic expertise on national television programs including CNN, Today, Good Morning America, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and Inside Edition. I believe patients should be involved in their treatment. I listen to their concerns, discuss treatment options and share my knowledge so they can make informed decisions. By combining expertise, innovation and individualized care, I strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient I treat.
